The Flagship TMS Program at NeuroSpa Headquarters

Citrus Park is where NeuroSpa’s TMS program began, and it remains the highest-volume TMS clinic in the network. When you choose the Citrus Park headquarters for TMS therapy, you are treated by the team that has administered more TMS sessions than any other NeuroSpa location — a depth of clinical experience that translates directly to treatment quality.

The clinical staff bench at Citrus Park runs deeper than at any other office. More TMS technicians, more scheduling flexibility, and a medical leadership team based on-site. Dr. Demian Obregon, NeuroSpa’s Medical Director, oversees operations from this location. When questions arise about protocol adjustments, treatment response, or combining TMS with other interventions, the decision-makers are down the hall — not at a different clinic.

The Citrus Park office runs the same MagVenture TMS systems used across all NeuroSpa locations — figure-8 coils (C-B60, Cool-B65, and T65 models) that deliver focused magnetic stimulation to the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex with clinical precision. The difference at headquarters is throughput and experience. The technicians here have calibrated more motor thresholds, managed more treatment courses, and navigated more patient-specific adjustments than their counterparts at any other location.

One D Protocol

ONE-D Accelerated TMS at Citrus Park Headquarters

Our headquarters location offers ONE-D accelerated TMS — complete your entire TMS treatment course in a single day. With the deepest clinical team of any NeuroSpa location, Citrus Park handles the highest volume of ONE-D treatments. Sessions are spaced at precise intervals throughout the day, delivering the full equivalent of a standard 6-8 week course. For patients with demanding schedules, those coordinating time off work, or those traveling to Tampa specifically for TMS, ONE-D at headquarters is the most efficient path to treatment.

Standard TMS Sessions

Both the standard daily protocol and ONE-D accelerated option are available here. Standard sessions run approximately 19 minutes each — no sedation, no recovery period, and you leave the office functioning exactly as you did when you arrived.

Getting Here

The Citrus Park office is located at 6511 Gunn Highway in northwest Tampa, in a professional office complex along the Gunn Highway commercial corridor near the Citrus Park Town Center. The building has visible signage from the road, and free parking surrounds the building. From the Veterans Expressway, the exit at Gunn Highway puts you about 1.5 miles from the front door.

Inside, the headquarters facility is the largest in the NeuroSpa network. The reception area is calm and unhurried. TMS treatment rooms are private, each equipped with a dedicated MagVenture system and treatment chair. The technicians here know the rhythm of TMS sessions intimately — they will walk you through the first session in detail and settle into an efficient, comfortable routine from the second session forward.

For patients coming from the Veterans Expressway or downtown Tampa, the drive is roughly 25 minutes. From Westchase, about 10 minutes. From Carrollwood, 15 minutes. The Gunn Highway location is accessible from multiple directions without dealing with interstate traffic during most of the day.

Back to Your Day

After your 19-minute session, you walk out of the treatment room and straight to your car. Most patients at the Citrus Park location head to nearby shops or restaurants along Gunn Highway, return to offices in the Westchase or Carrollwood areas, or continue their commute home. There is no recovery window, no grogginess, and nothing about the treatment that prevents you from functioning normally.

Conditions Treated with TMS at NeuroSpa Citrus Park

Depression Condition

Depression (Major Depressive Disorder)

FDA-cleared
Depression is the cornerstone of TMS treatment, backed by nearly two decades of controlled trials and real-world outcome studies. Treatment targets the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, where reduced neural activity is consistently observed in patients with MDD. Approximately 58% of treatment-resistant patients responded to TMS, with roughly 37% achieving complete remission (Carpenter et al., 2012).
OCD Condition

OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder)

FDA-cleared
MagVenture holds an independent 510(k) clearance for OCD, separate from the better-known BrainsWay Deep TMS clearance. OCD protocols target different brain circuits than depression treatment — specifically regions involved in error detection and compulsive behavior regulation. The clinical team at Citrus Park has managed more OCD-protocol TMS courses than any other NeuroSpa office.
Anxiety Condition

Anxiety (Comorbid with Depression)

FDA-cleared for MDD with comorbid anxiety
TMS is not currently FDA-cleared for standalone anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety disorder. However, when depression and anxiety overlap — as they often do — treating the depressive circuitry with TMS frequently reduces anxiety symptoms alongside mood improvement.
PTSD Condition

PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder)

Off-label
FDA clearance for PTSD treatment via TMS has been granted to BrainsWay’s Deep TMS system, which uses different coil technology than MagVenture. NeuroSpa offers TMS for PTSD as an off-label treatment, supported by published research including studies in military veterans demonstrating meaningful reductions in trauma-related symptoms (Isserles et al., 2013). PTSD treatment with MagVenture TMS is research-supported but not FDA-cleared.

Frequently Asked Questions About TMS at Our Headquarters Location

Why is Citrus Park considered the flagship TMS location?
Citrus Park is NeuroSpa’s headquarters and the location where our TMS program first launched. The clinical team here has treated more TMS patients than any other office in the network, and Medical Director Dr. Demian Obregon oversees operations from this location. The headquarters also houses the administrative team that coordinates insurance verification and scheduling for all five NeuroSpa clinics. For patients, this means the deepest clinical experience, the broadest scheduling availability, and the most direct access to clinical leadership.
Does the Citrus Park office offer ONE-D accelerated TMS?
Yes. Citrus Park is one of four NeuroSpa locations equipped for ONE-D accelerated TMS. Because the headquarters handles the highest volume of ONE-D treatments across the network, the clinical team here has the most experience managing the single-day accelerated protocol. Your clinician will determine whether ONE-D or standard TMS is the better fit for your diagnosis, treatment history, and scheduling needs.
What insurance plans does NeuroSpa Citrus Park accept for TMS?
NeuroSpa works with most major insurance providers, including Medicare. TMS therapy for depression is typically covered when a patient has not responded adequately to at least one antidepressant trial. Because the administrative team that manages prior authorizations across all NeuroSpa locations is based at Citrus Park, insurance processing at the headquarters office is often the fastest in the network. Call (813) 605-1122 to start your coverage verification.
How do I get to NeuroSpa Citrus Park from the Veterans Expressway?
Exit the Veterans Expressway at Gunn Highway and head west. Continue on Gunn Highway for approximately 1.5 miles, passing the Citrus Park Town Center area. Our office is at 6511 Gunn Hwy on the left side. If you reach Sheldon Road, you have gone slightly too far. The drive from the expressway exit to our front door is about 3-4 minutes without traffic. Free parking is available directly at the building.
Can I start TMS at Citrus Park and transfer to another location if needed?
Yes. NeuroSpa operates five TMS-equipped locations across Tampa Bay — Brandon, Citrus Park, Lakeland, Pinellas Park, and Wesley Chapel. If your circumstances change mid-treatment, such as a temporary work assignment or a family situation, your treatment protocol can transfer to another NeuroSpa clinic. Your records and calibration data carry over, so the transition does not require starting from scratch.
What makes the TMS experience different at headquarters compared to other NeuroSpa locations?
The treatment itself — the MagVenture coils, the protocol, the session duration — is identical across all NeuroSpa locations. What differs at headquarters is operational depth: more TMS technicians on staff, the largest treatment space, faster administrative turnaround on insurance and scheduling, and the physical presence of clinical leadership. For patients who value having the most experienced TMS team or who need maximum scheduling flexibility, Citrus Park offers advantages that come with being the flagship clinic.
