The Citrus Park office is located at 6511 Gunn Highway in northwest Tampa, in a professional office complex along the Gunn Highway commercial corridor near the Citrus Park Town Center. The building has visible signage from the road, and free parking surrounds the building. From the Veterans Expressway, the exit at Gunn Highway puts you about 1.5 miles from the front door.
Inside, the headquarters facility is the largest in the NeuroSpa network. The reception area is calm and unhurried. TMS treatment rooms are private, each equipped with a dedicated MagVenture system and treatment chair. The technicians here know the rhythm of TMS sessions intimately — they will walk you through the first session in detail and settle into an efficient, comfortable routine from the second session forward.
For patients coming from the Veterans Expressway or downtown Tampa, the drive is roughly 25 minutes. From Westchase, about 10 minutes. From Carrollwood, 15 minutes. The Gunn Highway location is accessible from multiple directions without dealing with interstate traffic during most of the day.
Back to Your Day
After your 19-minute session, you walk out of the treatment room and straight to your car. Most patients at the Citrus Park location head to nearby shops or restaurants along Gunn Highway, return to offices in the Westchase or Carrollwood areas, or continue their commute home. Depression (Major Depressive Disorder)
Depression is the cornerstone of TMS treatment, backed by nearly two decades of controlled trials and real-world outcome studies. Treatment targets the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, where reduced neural activity is consistently observed in patients with MDD. Approximately 58% of treatment-resistant patients responded to TMS, with roughly 37% achieving complete remission (Carpenter et al., 2012).
OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder)
MagVenture holds an independent 510(k) clearance for OCD, separate from the better-known BrainsWay Deep TMS clearance. OCD protocols target different brain circuits than depression treatment — specifically regions involved in error detection and compulsive behavior regulation. The clinical team at Citrus Park has managed more OCD-protocol TMS courses than any other NeuroSpa office.
Anxiety (Comorbid with Depression)
TMS is not currently FDA-cleared for standalone anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety disorder. However, when depression and anxiety overlap — as they often do — treating the depressive circuitry with TMS frequently reduces anxiety symptoms alongside mood improvement.
PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder)
FDA clearance for PTSD treatment via TMS has been granted to BrainsWay’s Deep TMS system, which uses different coil technology than MagVenture. NeuroSpa offers TMS for PTSD as an off-label treatment, supported by published research including studies in military veterans demonstrating meaningful reductions in trauma-related symptoms (Isserles et al., 2013). PTSD treatment with MagVenture TMS is research-supported but not FDA-cleared.
