Aleia Tierney
Aleia Tierney, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, trauma, emotional burnout, and chronic stress. She blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with neuroscience-informed tools to help clients understand their stress response, break unhelpful patterns, and build a sense of control over their thoughts and emotions. Aleia is known for her ability to make therapy both meaningful and approachable, translating complex psychological concepts into practical strategies clients can use in daily life.
Aleia believes therapy should feel engaging rather than clinical or overwhelming. She supports clients in reducing cognitive clutter, calming emotional chaos, and developing clarity around the stories they want to write moving forward. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and refreshingly human, grounded in real conversation, evidence-based interventions, and a deep understanding of how stress impacts both the mind and body. Aleia creates a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to pursue lasting growth and healing.
Aleia’s work is shaped by a passion for helping people feel seen and supported as they navigate life transitions, identity shifts, and emotional burnout. Outside of clinical practice, she enjoys creative projects, exploring Central Florida’s theme parks with her family, and finding grounding moments of connection and play in everyday life.
